A Little Life & Art Update

Hey everyone!

It's been a little while since I've shared what's been going on over here at Jacqui's Unique Designs, so I figured it was time for a little update!

Over the summer, I decided to take a break from social media and enjoy the beautiful Cape Ann. Not necessarily from creating, but from feeling like everything I made needed to be photographed, posted, or shared with an audience.

Sometimes it's nice to just create for yourself, experiment with new ideas, make a mess, and enjoy the process without worrying about what comes next.

I needed a little time to step away, recollect, and figure out what direction I wanted to take with my artwork and business.

My creations are always changing and evolving, just like life itself. A lot of what I create comes from what's going on in my life, what's happening around me, or sometimes just a place I want to escape to for a little while. I really do create from the soul.

Sometimes my artwork is realistic, and other times it's the most whimsical thing I've ever created! It really depends on my mood, what I'm feeling that day, and what music I have going on in the background.

I've also been spending a lot of time working on fan art commissioned pieces for some customers who love music! Music has always been a huge inspiration behind my artwork, so I've really enjoyed bringing some of these ideas to life.

I'm currently finishing up a couple of collections that I'm excited to share! This will be a new section of my artwork that I'll be releasing soon, once everything is finished.

I've also been making some changes to my website! Updating old information, refreshing my art programs, and working on making it easier to explore everything I offer.

Along with creating new artwork, I'm getting ready for upcoming craft fairs, working on new workshop ideas, and planning more opportunities to bring local artists and the community together.

There's a lot happening behind the scenes, even when I'm not posting about it!

I'm still figuring some things out, trying new ideas, and allowing my artwork to grow and change along the way. I don't think creativity is something that needs to stay the same, and I'm learning to enjoy that part of the process a little more.

So anyways, that's a little of where I've been and what I've been up to!

I'm looking forward to sharing more of what I've been working on, some upcoming events, and a few new things I'm excited about.
